Course Weaving


Jajim is one another Iran's handivraft. Jajm is colored strip of colored yarns of fine wool or cotton or a combination of the two were woven.

Jajm is colored strip of colored yarns of fine wool or cotton or a combination of the two were woven.  Jajim is simple traditional knitting on a roll of 18 to 35 cm and the length of 8 to 12 meters and sometimes 20 meters, depending on the size and dimentions of the workshop enviroment, The jajom weaving area is basic and consist of metal pegs, wooden trpods and ... . To acheive the fabric with desired width, the woven strips is sweing togethrer.
