For a while, it was also known for the name of Allahverdi Khan. Allahverdi Khan was the name of the famous Shah Abbas I chancellor, who built the bridge. Thirty-three bridges are about 300 meters long and 14 meters wide and is the longest Zayandeh Rud bridge built in the year 1005 Hijri Lunar for the connection of Chaharbagh-e-Abbasi Street to Charbagh Street and the Garden of Hezar Jarib and Abbas Abad. This bridge was a place at the feast of Abrizgan, where the shah's community, elders and poets, and other people have been gathered.
